Treatment Exclusion Criteria

Your safety is our highest priority. To ensure clinical safety, we are unable to provide gambling-focused support if you are currently experiencing any of the following:

• Have recently made an active suicide attempt
• Are at high risk of suicide
• Are experiencing a psychotic episode

If any of these situations apply, you will need time to address your mental health and stabilize before we can begin working on gambling-related harms.

Behaviour

The staff at Breakeven are here to help and support you. We will treat you with respect and we expect you to treat us in the same way. Poor behaviour will not be tolerated, and should we experience this we may ask you to leave the service or end the call/chat, and or notify the police in cases in appreciate incidence. Examples of poor behaviour include:

• Threatening language
• Threats or actual abuse towards staff, partner agencies or other service users, member of public shared locations and spaces
• Illegal activities such as theft, property damage, substance use in or near a location you are being seen at.

If you have previously had your treatment terminated by Breakeven, than you may be refused treatment in future or a strict behavioural contract will be put in place at the start of your next treatment journey.
